Very nice map and I like the names. One little suggestion: I'd move Lesser Fenwick closer on the map to Grand Fenwick. It is too far away right now. If it were closer, with only one or two little countries between it and GF, then you set up some good potential conflicts of states. Its kind of like Prussia and East Prussia with Danzig in the middle.
Thanks for the comments. Less Fenwick is a sad wee thing, isn't it? Perhaps I will shift it to the center.
I've been speculating abut game rules, but an overall objective for each major player should probably be to connect all their possessions. Except for Fenwick (for which I have very few painted figures) which will win if no-one else has at the end of the game.
I have been toying with political rules that would require the forcing of a peace treaty in order to transfer a possession rather than just (or as well as) occupying it. For the minor states, perhaps occupying it and having two other players agree that it should be yours.

ReplyDeleteLesser Fenwick is so isolated and *small* that it looks unlikely to survive 2 campaign months?
